BACnet Server

It is for configuring Elastel gateway act as BACnet Server for Northbound BACnet client to fetch the data which gateway collected from south devices rules. It supports BACnet/IP or BACnet/MSTP communication protocols between BACnet server and client.

By BACnet/IP​

  1. Enable/Disable BACnet Server feature
  2. Select the BACnet/IP or BACnet/MSTP communication protocol, in this section we select BACnet/IP
  3. Select the IP based communication interface for Northbound BACnet client reachable, options:
    1. br0 for LAN connection
    2. eth0 for WAN connection
    3. wlan0 for WiFi client connection
    4. wwan0 for cellular network connection
      tip

      the BACnet using UDP broadcast to reach southbound device.

  4. Configure the BACnet Server port
  5. Configure the BACnet Server device ID
  6. Configure the BACnet Server Object Name

By BACnet/MSTP​

  1. Enable/Disable BACnet Server feature
  2. Select the BACnet/IP or BACnet/MSTP communication protocol, in this section we select BACnet/MSTP
  3. Select the serial COM interface for Northbound BACnet client reachable
  4. Configure the serial COM baud rate
  5. Configure the Source Address
  6. Configure the Max Master
  7. Configure the Frames
  8. Configure the BACnet Server device ID
  9. Configure the BACnet Server Object Name
