📄️ WAN
WAN (Wide Area Network) is for Elastel gateway connect to an external network, like your Internet Service Provider’s (ISP) network and 4G LTE network, allowing Elastel gateway and its LAN devices to access the internet. WAN menu provide WAN related settings, including Wired and LTE settings.
📄️ LAN
LAN (Local Area Network) refers to the local network that connects all local devices (call LAN devices) under Elastel gateway. Through the LAN, LAN devices can communicate with each other and are managed by the Elastel gateway, which provides access to external networks.
📄️ WiFi AP
ElastPro provide WiFi management for those Elastel gateways which support WiFi.
📄️ WiFi Client
WiFi Client (STA Mode) refers to that the Elastel gateway operates as a client to connect to a surrounding WiFi network to get internet. In this mode, Elastel gateway like a smartphone or laptop connect to your office Access Point (AP) to gain access to internet.
📄️ Online Detection
Online detection is a daemon program that periodically Ping the detection servers to ensure the Elastel gateway internet reachable, and configurable schedule Elastel gateway reboot automatically to try to recovery itself if the network unreachable in an Interval.
📄️ LoRaWAN
LoRaWAN is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) communication protocol based on LoRa technology.
📄️ Firewall
ElastPro provides a firewall that allows you to create rules for inbound and outbound network traffic to protect your Elastel gateway.
